Queen Status

As I adjust my crown and look around,

I see things that used to get me down.

It took me some time getting here,

But the peace I’ve gained is ever so clear.

I’ve done some things I’m not proud of.

I’ve said things I can’t take back.

And though I’ve sincerely apologized,

People still cut me no slack.

But everything happens for a reason.

Every friendship has its season.

Life ain’t about what people think of you.

It’s about what you believe in.

So carry on with your life,

And gently leave your mark.

Submit to a higher power,

And silence your bark.

Humble people are not heard,

Yet the first to be noticed.

Your walk will shame the

loudest, baddest, and the boldest.

If you really are a queen,

Stop entertaining everything.

Pick up your crown,

And go find your king.

In short, I'm a work of ART (Aptitude, Responsibility, & Talent). My goal is to Attract, Retain, and Teach an audience between the ages of 14 to about 50 and beyond the disciplines of life. I've been blessed with the gift of giving knowledge and creating peace within the souls of many who are starving for spiritual satisfaction. I'm no prophet, but I do believe that I am one of God's chosen spiritual leaders and sources of information on how to walk a straight path down a crooked road.
